What happens when a land that has made time its greatest ally chooses to tell its story through digital tools?

Val d’Orcia Outdoor is a project created to promote slow and sustainable tourism while deeply transforming how this story takes shape online. On this journey, we were asked to do what every communication agency should always aim to do: listen to the land, understand its potential, and translate it into content that speaks to real travelers.

Strategy, content, identity: our role

In this project, we worked on two institutional websites — visitvaldorcia.it and parcodellavaldorcia.it — reimagining their structure and user experience to meet a specific goal: clearly and beautifully highlight Val d’Orcia’s outdoor identity.

But the key element wasn’t just the technical upgrade — it was how we connected data to editorial choices, maps to routes, and content to strategy.

We brought into the project a perspective that integrates:

  • analysis and vision – to understand not only what is needed, but what truly works;
  • information architecture and storytelling – because even a hiking trail can tell a story, if guided by the right words;
  • visual coherence and tone of voice – because every channel (site, portal, map, archive) only speaks when it does so in harmony.

Telling the story of a place — the right way

We didn’t just write content; we built a true narrative identity. We interpreted the territory’s needs and translated them into editorial proposals, cross-channel content, and high-quality imagery.

As always, our work was about bringing structure, vision, and creativity to where before there were only scattered pieces of information. About crafting a story that could last over time — recognizable and repeatable, even beyond the project’s timeline.

Because a good project isn’t one that ends with delivery.
It’s one that leaves behind tools and language so others can continue to walk in the same direction.
